MM Part 1

This is the only home I’ve ever known.

I know all my neighbors

they’re all my family.

Each room in the house has a different memory

and all the carpets are tan.

We’ve stained them with coffee and wine and once, spaghetti sauce.

There’s even a wall that I once threw up bright purple on after a school carnival.
