Movies gave me
unrealistic expectations of many things,
like how romantic kissing a crush would be
or how easy it is to get in shape.

But one thing they didn’t get wrong
was musics ability to make any sunset
feel like the best one I’ve seen,
when I’m walking home alone, rice vinegar and cocoa powder in my bag,
wind in my hair, new city to search, dogs playing,

I just don’t think they lied about this.
