Left Wondering

I stood at the cross roads of,
_______ and ________.

As if I had lost the directions (something I rarely do)
I was only left to guess the way I was meant to go.

This felt especially trying because the roads faced opposite directions.
Meaning if I chose the wrong one I would be headed the way that was exactly incorrect.

I felt nervous, and nauseous, and mostly unsure.

And in the end decided to pursue neither road for fear of losing my way completely.
